We are committed to sustainability

Our environmental policy is based on reducing pollution and promoting respect for the ecosystem.
These are the results achieved in 2025.

100% renewable energy sources:

Parc Central uses green energy from 100% renewable sources, with zero CO₂ emissions, certified by the CNMC.

Expansion of the photovoltaic plant:

Parc Central has expanded its photovoltaic plant from 35 kWp to 350 kWp. During 2025, the plant produced 327 MWh, representing 17.9% of the building’s total energy consumption.

Air conditioning and HVAC systems:

We promote improvement and upgrading works focused on increasing energy efficiency.

Installation of vehicle charging points:

Installation and commissioning of 25 electric vehicle charging points, supplied with 100% renewable energy certified by the CNMC.

Eco-friendly services:

New charging stations for electric vehicles, bicycles, and electric scooters.

Efficient equipment:

Waterless urinals and plumbing systems up to 60% more efficient than conventional solutions.

Rainwater and groundwater recovery and reuse point:

A system that has injected 4,184 m³ to supply greywater for toilet flushing, representing a 24.7% saving of the total mains water consumed by Parc Central.

Monitoring and control:

Monitoring and control of facilities and equipment to ensure optimal resource efficiency.

Modernisation of lifting equipment:

Modernisation of the shopping centre’s lifting equipment to convert them into low-energy-consumption systems, with minimum A++ energy efficiency certifications

Paper and cardboard recycling:

In 2025, Parc Central recycled more than 233 tonnes of paper and cardboard, 19.4 tonnes more than in 2024, equivalent to preserving 2,800 to 3,267 trees.

Plastic recycling:

In 2025, Parc Central recycled 23.4 tonnes of plastic, 9.9 tonnes more than in 2024, thanks to awareness campaigns and commercial units that improved waste separation.

Reduction of environmental impact:

Parc Central has reduced the impact of natural resource consumption, achieving a 15% reduction in electricity consumption and a 33% reduction in clean water consumption in common areas over the past year.

Activation of a Biodiversity Plan and Landscape Study:

Implementation of an action plan for decarbonisation by 2038.

Native and natural vegetation:

Parc Central features natural and native vegetation.

Decarbonisation:

Implementation of a decarbonisation action plan through 2038.

Collaboration with public administrations:

Collaboration with public administrations and organisations in matters of corporate social responsibility.

The development of our strategy has enabled us to achieve the highest standards in certifications: UNE EN ISO 14001:2015, certifying the Environmental Management System, and BREEAM In-Use, rated Excellent.
