Rules of conduct
- Local, regional and state regulations regarding animal ownership must be complied with at all times. You can view the Tarragona local authority website at the following link: index.php (diputaciodetarragona.cat).
- The owner or person in charge of the dog shall not hold the shopping centre liable for any problem that their dog may cause to the shopping centre, commercial establishments or other visitors.
- As required by law, if your dog is a dog classed as a potentially dangerous breed it must be kept on a leash, wear a muzzle and comply with all applicable regulations.
- Se permite la entrada de perros a las zonas comunes del centro comercial y a los establecimientos que cuenten con la pegatina identificativa ‘Dog Friendly’ en su escaparate.
- Dogs are allowed in the common areas of the shopping centre and in any stores that display the ‘Dog Friendly‘ sticker on their window.
- Dogs may enter the designated pet-friendly toilet area, but under no circumstances may they use the sinks or toilets to drink water.
- To ensure customer safety and avoid uncomfortable or dangerous situations for people or animals, the centre reserves the right to refuse entrance with pets to certain events held on the premises.
- In order to ensure everyone’s well-being, our security staff may at any time assess situations that affect other customers, and make decisions accordingly.
- On ramps and stairs, dogs must be carried in their owners’ arms.
- Dogs may not be left inside vehicles parked in the different parking areas.
- Access with dogs to the shopping centre’s common areas may be restricted in the case of overcrowding or for the safety of visitors and the animals themselves.
Conduct
- The dog must behave appropriately. As much as possible, please avoid visiting the centre if your dog is not properly trained, barks frequently at strangers or tends to relieve itself in non-designated areas.
- The dog must always be kept on a leash and must walk next to the owner or person responsible for the dog. Dogs may not climb on the furniture.
- The owner or person in charge of the dog must carry bags for collecting dog waste.
- At the Customer Service Point we also provide a drinking fountain and waste bags.
- Dog food may not be brought onto the premises and dogs cannot be fed, except in the specially designated areas.
- Toys such as balls, whistles and similar items may not be brought onto the premises.
- Under no circumstances may dogs be tied to the shopping centre’s furniture or left unattended by their owner or guardian.
Recommendations
- All dogs must wear an ID collar, including their owner’s phone number. Dogs must also be dewormed.
- The owner or person in charge of the dog must carry the dog’s vaccination card.
- The owner or person in charge of the dog must refrain from entering indoor areas with their pet if the animal is on heat.
